To further deepen the strategic cooperation among Sinochem Holdings, Bluestar, and COFCO, and effectively leverage the synergistic innovation effect of technology, Bluestar signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with COFCO Nutrition and Health Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "COFCO NHRI") on the morning of May 23. Hao Xiaoming, Director of Science and Technology Management of COFCO, Party Secretary and President of COFCO NHRI, Hao Zhigang, Chairman and Party Secretary of Bluestar, and Jean Marc Dublanc, CEO of Adisseo, attended the signing ceremony.

As the core R&D organization, COFCO NHRI is the first enterprise-based R&D center in China to conduct systematic research on the nutritional needs and metabolic mechanisms of Chinese people to achieve their health demands. It focuses on R&D innovation in such areas as processing and application technology, branded food, biotechnology, animal nutrition and feed, nutrition and metabolism, food quality and safety, consumer and market research, and knowledge management.

Aiming at implementing the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the “all-encompassing approach to food” with practical actions and making more contributions to the food security strategy and green and low-carbon development, under this strategic cooperation, both sides will leverage their respective advantages in the industrial chain to promote efficient utilization of grains for feed by focusing on the value mining of grain by-products for feed and the synergy of technological innovation in animal nutrition.?
