In November, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones’ RTV-107 Room Temperature Vulcanized Methyl Silicone Rubber was certified as a green product of Jiangxi Province. The rubber is among the first-batch certified products in pilot counties of “Jiangxi Green Brand”, demonstrating the advantages of Elkem Xinghuo Silicones in the green industry. Its products and services feature resource conservation, environmental protection, ecological collaboration and leading quality.

The room temperature vulcanized methyl silicone rubber, abbreviated as 107 rubber, features the resistance to aging, corrosion, water, moisture and shock, and low shrinkage ratio. It has been widely applied in construction, electronics, rubber & plastic products, leather, textile finishing and daily chemical industries. The high-end product series can meet the EU SVHC requirements, with a ring content of less than 1,000 ppm, a volatile content of less than 0.75% and a quality level at the forefront of the international and domestic markets. A drafting unit of the national standard for 107 rubber products, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones can meet the national standards and the current international quality standards for similar products, ranking first in China regarding the sales volume.

Recently, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones received good news again. Dimethyldichlorosilane hydrolysate was titled as “Jiangxi Famous Brand” in 2021. The three products of room temperature vulcanized methyl silicone rubber, silicone sealant, and mixed silicone rubber were re-evaluated as “Jiangxi Famous Brand”, marking that Jiangxi brand authority has recognized the comprehensive strength and brand influence of Elkem Xinghuo Silicones.

In addition to the above products, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones boasts a total of eight Jiangxi brands within the validity period, including silicone raw rubber, dimethyl silicone oil, Dimethylcyclosiloxane and vinyl silicone oil.
