On September 25, the Management Committee of Yongxiu Group in Ganjiang New Area of Jiangxi Province held a press conference to announce that the Silicone Innovation Institute led by Elkem Xinghuo Silicone has obtained the national CMA (measurement certification) qualification certificate, and has become the first professional third-party inspection and testing institution for silicone products in China.

In 2017, Elkem Xinghuo Silicone and Yongxiu county government took the lead and jointly established a Silicone Innovation Institute with a number of chemical enterprises, relying on the domestic industry-leading effect of Elkem Xinghuo Silicone, to further promote the deep integration of the silicone industrial chain, innovation chain and talent chain in Yongxiu County, and vigorously build a public science and technology innovation service platform and testing platform for silicone product R & D center, technology development consulting service, inspection and testing and project incubation, etc., with Elkem Xinghuo Silicone as the leader and enterprises in the park as the main body, forming a demonstration area and industrial chain cluster area of silicone innovation and application, promoting the application incubation and industrial upgrading of silicone, creating a green ecosystem to serve enterprises in the park, and improving the overall innovation level of the local government silicone industrial chain.

After three years of development, the Silicone Innovation Institute has gradually formed a certain scale and has made positive contributions to the transformation and upgrading of China's silicone industry chain and to the promotion of innovative development, green development and high-quality development.
